St. Charles Women’s Club spreads holiday cheer

Some children in the St. Charles Parish public school systems HeadStart program were reciepients of bags full of gifts consisting of clothes and educational toys.
The SCWC members donated numerous items for the Luling Living Center to be used for their annual Penny Party. These items allow the nursing home residents an opportunity to "Christmas Shop" for pennies an item.

Woodruff wins District II seat by 20 votes - 628 views
The runoff election for the District II council seat ended Saturday night with a very narrow margin of victory for William "Billy" Woodruff over Mary Clulee.
