Sidney J, Tregle, 90, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away Nov. 23.

A visitation was held from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28 with services afterward at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Holland, Sylvia Ann Somme, Thomas Tregle and Stacey Allen; grandchildren, Robert Bergeron Jr., Darren Bergeron, Gary Bergeron, Jinger Allen, Daniel Allen Jr. and Thomas Tregle Jr.; great-grandchildren Robert Bergeron III, Derrick Bergeron, Darren Bergeron Jr., Chasity Bergeron, Brandon Bergeron, Jordan Bergeron, Madeline Hebert and Blaise Mustacchia and sister Dora Comardelle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Dempster Tregle; parents, Albert Tregle and Jeanne Larousse Tregle; son, Jerry Tregle; grandchild, Sandy Somme and sisters Louise Folse, Frances Breaux and Mae Cologne.

Tregle was an Army Veteran of WWII and was a Prisoner Of War.
