PrintArthur Louis Schaubhut, Jr., 84, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 12:35 p.m. in Houma.
A native and resident of Des Allemands.
Beloved husband of Earline Naquin Schaubhut for 62 years. Father of Curry Schaubhut, Sr. and wife Pamela, Todd Schaubhut and wife Roxanne, and the late Marylane Bevill. Son of the late Arthur Schaubhut, Sr. and Rose Christen Schaubhut. Brother of John Schaubhut, Lillian Dufrene and the late Elwyn Schaubhut, Merlin Schaubhut, Rita Matherne and Vivian Rogers. Also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Gerturde Catholic Church in Des Allemands on Nov. 5. Interment is at St. Gertrude Cemetery. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
