Lady Wildcats fall to H.L. Bourgeois in volleyball regionals
The No. 9 Destrehan girls volleyball team fell just short of the Division 1 quarterfinals after losing to H.L. Bourgeois.

Destrehan was led by Allison Marrs, who finished with seven kills. Alicia Radecker tallied 14 digs, while Catherine Beck finished with 20 assists. Taylor Vinet served up one ace.

Destrehan, who finished the season with a 25-17 record, had advanced to the regionals after beating Chalmette in the bi-district round.
