Man charged with stalking, attempted rape of 16-year-old

A 20-year-old Summit, Miss. man has been arrested for numerous charges related to a sexual relationship he allegedly had with a St. Charles Parish juvenile.

Capt. Pat Yoes, public information officer with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, said Perrin was arrested under warrant.

"Perrin allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female," Yoes said. "When the female attempted to stop the relationship with Perrin he allegedly stalked her."

In addition to 27 counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, Perrin is charged with stalking, two counts of aggravated battery, attempted forcible rape, computer aided solicitation of a minor, two counts of terrorizing and contribution to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Perrin was arrested and booked into the Nelson Coleman Correctional Facility on Nov. 5.
