HHS cross country team finishes in third
Twin Tigers finish in
The Hahnville High School boys cross country team, who began the season with three straight wins, was unable to restart their winning streak at the Tarpon Invitational held on Oct. 17.
The Assumption Mustangs were the meet winners, finishing four points ahead of South Lafourche and seven points ahead of the Tigers. Individually, the Tigers had another outstanding 1-2 finish from Beau and Bryce Robinson, who completed the 2.75-mile course in 14:38 and 14:50, respectively.
The Hahnville girls team struggled, finishing tenth, but Caitlin Mikesell took home a top 10 finish for the Lady Tigers in a field with some outstanding runners.
The Tigers will be competing for a second-straight district championship on Nov. 1 in the spillway.
