Satellite Center students “Building a better you”

Once a month, The Satellite Center has a team day where in the past they have played team building games, but this year the facilitators at the satellite center have decided to take a different direction with the team days.

The Satellite Center has partnered with the St Charles United Way to get the team members out into the community to give back. For this particular event the team members went out and did a Trash Bash. They picked up trash along Highway 3160 in Hahnville, the boat launch on Highway 3127 and the levee from I-310 off ramp to Shell station in Luling (from river to river road). The Satellite Center as whole picked up 150 bags of trash, as well as more than 20 car tires.
