Mary Tate, 91, entered into eternal life on Friday, Oct. 12 at St. Joseph’s of Harahan Hospice Care.
Mrs. Tate, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., was the beloved wife of the late James H. Tate, Sr.
She is survived by her sons, Jim Tate and his wife Jayne of Luling, Bob Tate and his wife Bunkie of Longwood, Fla., and daughter, Debbie Tate of Lancaster, Ky. Grandmother of Beth Tate Bell and her husband Marlon, Stephan Tate and his wife Michelle, Katy Tate, Jamey Tate and his wife U-Jung. Great-grandmother of James Michael Bell, Emily Elizabeth Bell and Christopher James Tate.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating Mary’s life on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 4 p.m. at the Luling United Methodist Church at 1001 Paul Maillard Road in Luling with a reception to follow at the church. Her interment will be held in West Virginia at a later date.
