Philip A. Matherne, 60, passed away on Aug. 29.

A native of Des Allemands and a resident of Marrero, Matherne was the owner of Mary Annís Floral Boutique.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda C. Matherne; sons, Joshua Paul Matherne and Jacob Michael Matherne; two daughterís, Meloney Lalonde and husband Jessy and Johnetta Ann Matherne; brothers, Leroy and Leslie Matherne; sisters Mary Champagne and Carolyn Ford and two grandchildren, Mary and Kylan. Services will be held at Harvest Time Fellowship Church in Harvey on Oct. 6.
