Carolyn Harris Louviere, 63, passed away on Wednesday, Aug.29 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Loving mother of Robert (Bob) Louviere, Steve Louviere, Laura Louviere and the late Scott Louviere.Grandmother of Donovan Morse. Daughter of Rockwell F. Harris (Lake City, Fla.) and the late Kathleen Randolph Harris. Sister of Kathy O’Brien (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.), Patricia Davis (Lake City, Fla.) and Linda Harris (Orlando, Fla.). Louviere was born in Biloxi, Miss. and moved to Luling in 1970 where she raised her children. She dedicated the last sixteen years of her life to working for St. Charles Parish.
The family wants to thank all of her friends and the community for all of their support during this difficult time.
Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the Visitation on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero. A Funeral Mass was conducted in the Chapel. Interment was private. You may view and sign the online guest book by visiting www.mothefunerals.com.
