Arrests
•Israel Hernandez, 22, of 117 Kembra Dr. in LaPlace, was arrested on Aug. 23 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, open container and display false license.
•Sandy M. Folse, 30, of 804 Fonda St. in Paradis, was arrested on Aug. 23 and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple battery.
•Delacy R. Harris, 28, of 2100 Rose Dr. in Gretna, was arrested on Aug. 21 and charged with possession of heroin.
•Leonal Mejia, 30, of 119 Lussan Ln. in Luling, was arrested on Aug. 23 and charged with D.W.I., simple battery and disturbing the peace.
•Vito A. Silvestri, 30, of 196 Carolyn Dr. in Destrehan, was arrested on Aug. 21.
•Rebecca L. Yeager, 53, of 30 Bonura in St. Rose, was arrested on Aug. 24 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Richard Robin, 47, of U.S. 61 S. Airline Hwy. in St. Rose, was arrested on Aug. 26 and charged with D.W.I. and speeding.
•Caroline M. Pinto, 43, of 245 Pioneer Dr. in hanville, was arrested on Aug. 26 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, open container, owner vehicle registration and fugitive from the Jefferson parish Sheriff’s Office.
•Tess Malone, 20, of 4421 St. mary St. in Metairie, was arrested on Aug. 26 and charged with D.W.I. and speeding.
•Steven A. Brumley, 34, of 103 Sharon Ave. in Boutte, was arrested on Aug. 26 and charged with D.W.I. and operating under suspension.
Thefts
•Assorted prescription medication, a revolver and a taser were stolen from 118 St. Rose- Lot A in St. Rose on Aug. 22.
•Vehicle speakers were stolen from a vehicle parked at 377 Ash St. in Boutte on Aug. 22.
•A flatbed trailer was stolen from 10405 Airline Hwy. in St. Rose on Aug. 22.
•An X-box 360 Kinect and a game were stolen from 232 Apple St. in Norco on Aug. 21.
•A GPS and assorted CDs were stolen from 1057 Paul Maillard Road in Luling on Aug. 21.
•A laptop computer as stolen from 206 Adams St. in Killona on Aug. 21.
•A wallet, an expandable baton and cash were stolen out of a vehicle parked at 134 Ann St. in St. Rose on Aug. 21.
•A cordless drill, a digital camera, a camcorder and an electric saw valued at $503 were stolen from 313 Turtle Creek in St. Rose on Aug. 20.

Speed patrols return to I-310 after months-long absence - 1744 views
Over the past four months, those who often travel the elevated portions of I-10 and I-310 in St. Charles Parish have noticed a lack of state troopers on the interstate.
