DESTREHAN - The East Regional St. Charles Parish Public Library is hosting an ADHD support group. The four part seminar is presented by guest speaker Myra Noustens, LCSW. The seminar is based on Lee Carter’s parenting book “What To Do When Your Child Won’t Behave.” Topics to be covered during the next three monthly meetings include:
Step 2: Decide on the behaviors you want from your child
Step 3: Be ready to back up your words with actions
Step 4: Take time to make your child feel special - and successful
Parents may learn skills that can change their child’s life for the better. For more information call Debbie Bourgeois at (504) 275-5268.
