See-through oven’s up for grabs in exciting new Herald-Guide contest
Santa Claus really is coming to town
BOUTTE - You can win a futuristic countertop oven that's spacious enough to cook a Thanksgiving turkey and all the trimmings in a great new Herald-Guide contest that makes it easy for you to take home the grand prize.
All you have to do is tell us in 50 words or less why you need the Nu-Wave Infrared Oven, valued by the manufacturer at $99. Not your ordinary oven, the Nu-Wave broils, bakes, fries, roasts, steams, dehydrates and barbeques without fats or oils. You can even watch your food cook because the oven is transparent.
The best hard-luck story as judged by our editor wins. Entries accepted until Nov. 17, 2006. Winner will be announced in the Nov. 23 issue of the Herald-Guide.
E-mail your story to editor@heraldguide.com , or post it in a letter to Herald-Guide Oven Contest, P.O. Box 1199, Boutte, LA 70039. Be sure to include a home address and daytime telephone number where we can reach you.
Editor’s decision is final. No purchase necessary to win.
