Marty Duhon and Joe Ocmand did the cooking with support from United Way and Motiva when they recently served day program participants at the ARC of St. Charles.

The duo, who both work with the Nocor Manufacturing Complex Liability Department, have been at it providing meals in the area for over 10 years.

"We turned a thing that we kind of love into something for the community," Ocmand said. "The fact that they don’t have the meals for the summer is really the reason we’re out here."

The pair cooked enough to last the facility for two days worth of lunch.

"It’s fun. It’s enjoyable and it’s something we can do for the parish," Duhon said. "That’s kind of why we want to do this."
