Felicie A."Susie" Oubre, 81, died on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at St. Charles Parish Hospital in Luling.
A native of Hahnville, she was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, R.N. and Charity Hospital School of Anesthesia, serving over 40 years as a nurse and CRNA. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She was the daughter of the late Felicie Keller and J. Charles Oubre, Sr., sister of Sandra V. Oubre, J. Charles Oubre, Jr.(wife Carol), Gail P. Oubre (wife Cathlyn), Roland D. Oubre (wife Janet), Bernard N. Oubre (wife Linda) and the late Gerard L. Oubre (late Sandi). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville. A Memorial Mass was held at the church with Fr. Bernard Francis as celebrant. Burial followed in the church cemetery in Taft.
Arrangements were under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.
