Grandmother of Corey, Nicole and April LaBranche and Holly Troxler. Great-grandmother of Bryce and Tristan Troxler. Age 80. A native of Montz and resident Destrehan. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. on Oct. 23 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco. Interment was in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Mausoleum in Reserve. Visitation was at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.
Leola Dukes on Friday, Oct. 20 in Metairie. Daughter of the late Daisy Edwards and Joseph Sandolph, Sr. Mother of Monica D. Baloney, Teddy and Leonard Dukes Jr. Sister of Ada Coleman, the late Joseph Sandolph Jr., Octave Williams and Emma Tillman. Godmother of Patricia Williams. Also survived by five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Age 68 years. A native and resident of Boutte. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mount Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches were invited to attend the funeral at Mount Zion Baptist Church located at 107 Magnolia Ridge Road, in Boutte on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Robert Pardo, pastor, officiating. Interment was held at St. Mary Cemetery in Boutte. Visitation was at the above named church from 11a.m. until service time.

Father of Danielle, Danny Jr., and Ida Lynette Holmes both of St. Rose. Brother of Lawrence Holmes of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Lloyd Holmes of St. Rose, Wilfred Holmes of Stone Mountain, Ga., Ida, Gordon, Carl and Greta Holmes all of New Sarpy, Paul Holmes of Temple, Texas, and the late Kirk and Willie Holmes. Also survived by two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 55 years. A native and resident of New Sarpy. Mother of Claire Crutti and Kristen Crutti. Sister of Michelle Lougue and Jeanne D. Bourgeois. Daughter-in-law of Pete and Myra Crutti. Sister-in-law of Wendel Lougue, Linda Fruge and Don Fruge. Also survived by three nieces and three nephews. Age 41. A native of Gramercy, and a resident of Luling for 17 years. Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling. Interment was at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mausoleum in Paulina. Visitation was held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
