Deslatte
Randy Charles Deslatte Sr., 55, passed away at his home on Friday, May 25, 2012. He worked for Cajun Constructors as a carpenter for 15 years and was a graduate of Destrehan High School.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Cheryl Schexnayder Deslatte, son of Marie Poche Deslatte and the late Herman Deslatte Sr., father of Randy Deslatte Jr., Mindy Wilson (Jamie) and John Vicknair (fiancee Jessica Cook). Grandfather of Kai and Leilani Wilson and brother of Herman "T-Bud" Deslatte (Karen), Kenneth "Tut" (Betty) and Danny Deslatte. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 29 and 30 at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St., Norco. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home and burial followed in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.
The family would like to express special thanks to Tami Knight of St. Joseph Hospice and Facebook friends who sent messages of encouragement, family, in-laws, East Jefferson Hospital Intensive Care Unit and many others who cannot be named.
Arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.
