Mary Lee Green Coleman passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 at River Region Hospice in River Ridge at the age of 62.

Daughter of Gladys Simmons and the late Charles Boyd, Sr. Devoted wife of Louis J. Coleman. Mother of Kassaundra Coleman, LaDaine Chad Coleman, Katrina Coleman Taylor and Kendrelle Coleman Roberts. Sister of Barbara Brown. Half sister of Carolyn B. Powell, Judy J. Boyd, Tonya B. Collins, Eric D. Boyd and Irving J. Boyd. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A native and resident of Boutte. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mt Zion Baptist Church, Mt Airy Baptist Church and all neighboring churches, employees and reitrees of St Charles Hospital and St Charles Parish Public School System, The Guest House Nursing Home of Baton Rouge and River Region Hospice of River Ridge were invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Boutte on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. Pastor Robert B. Pardo, Sr., officiated. Interment was at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Garden of Memories Cemetery, 2023 Paul Maillard Road, Boutte. Visitation at the above named church was from 9 a.m. until service time. Robottom in charge of arrangements.
