Surrogate parents needed for disabled children

St. Charles Parish Public Schools is looking for individuals interested in serving as surrogate parents. A surrogate parent becomes familiar with the child’s abilities, disabilities, needs, and goals. This requires attending meetings and helping the team plan and make decisions about the child’s education. Use your skills to build relationships and see the results in our community and in the life of a child. If you are interested in becoming a member of a child’s educational team consider volunteering to become a surrogate parent.
