8-year-old Destrehan boy catches biggest redfish at First Choice tournament
Colton W. Stowe, 8, of Destrehan, caught a huge redfish at a sponsored event put on by First Choice auto auctions. Stowe outfished around 30 others and caught the biggest fish of the tournament. The redfish was 29 1/2 inches and was caught with a dead shrimp under cork in LaFete. Stowe won some money for his big catch and also received a hat signed by all of the guides at Griffin Charters.
