“Pass along” your plants to fellow gardeners

DESTREHAN - The public is invited to participate in a “Pass Along” plant exchange at the German Coast Farmers’ Market on April 7 at 10:30 a.m. The event will be held at the market’s Destrehan location at Ormond Plantation and registration begins at 10 a.m. Participants should bring a well-established, healthy specimen in a one-half gallon or larger container. Each person will be allowed one entry. The botanical or pet name of the plant should be included, along with simple instructions for care.
