“Pass along” your plants to fellow gardeners
DESTREHAN - The public is invited to participate in a “Pass Along” plant exchange at the German Coast Farmers’ Market on April 7 at 10:30 a.m. The event will be held at the market’s Destrehan location at Ormond Plantation and registration begins at 10 a.m. Participants should bring a well-established, healthy specimen in a one-half gallon or larger container. Each person will be allowed one entry. The botanical or pet name of the plant should be included, along with simple instructions for care. You can also bring along any cuttings or extra plants that you would like to share. For further information call Marilyn Richoux at (985)764-2698.
