With the much anticipated film "The Hunger Games" being released last week, the 7th grade teachers at Harry Hurst Middle School decided to take part in the games as well.

In an effort to create excitement and curiosity about the award winning book, each teacher took on the role of a character by dressing the part. Seventh-grade teachers pictured are Gabrielle Pollock as Effie Trinket, Rosa Delpidio as Katniss during the games, JulieAnna Smithas Katniss during interviews and Lisa Dauenhauer as Glimmer.
