He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lois Lepine Falgout, son, Shannon Falgout (wife Rhonda), daughters, Daina Abadie (husband Kyle), Dawn Brady (husband T.J.) and Nichol Wigginton (husband John); brother, Michael Falgout, sister, Margie Cavalier (husband Ivy Sr.), and 11 grandchildren: Zachary, Harlie, Casey, Tyler, Ryan, Seth, Kaleb, Dakota, Joshua, Nicholas and Jacob.
Services were held on March 9 at Life House Church in Reserve. Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Falgout Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Legislators vow to help parish fight huge insurance increases - 544 views
Parish President V.J. St. Pierre, along with eight other parish presidents and representatives from five other parishes, visited Washington, D.C. to talk to officials about the potential spike in local flood insurance premiums should large portions of the Biggert-Waters Act be allowed to take effect in October.
