He was the beloved husband of Ethel Dupeire Landry for 62 years, father of Ramsey Jr. (Tina), Jan L. Riches (Thomas) and Nan L. Plaideau (Ralph Jr.); son of the late Nathaniel J. and Pauline Cambre Landry, grandfather of six, step-grandfather of one, Brother of Gloria Mae "Faye" Landry Young (Bob), and great-grandfather of four. He was a retiree of Shell Oil Co. in Norco, a World War II Army Air Force Veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart in 1944. He was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 1955, wounded in action December 25, 1944 at the Battle of the Bulge.

A Memorial Mass was held at Lake Lawn Funeral Home in Metairie on Feb. 27. Interment followed in the All Saints Mausoleum. Donations preferred to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
