Arrests
•Oshton Dounseroux, 22, of 3228 Leonidas St. in New Orleans, was arrested on March 6 and charged with 2nd degree battery.
•A 29-year-old Luling resident whose name was withheld to protect a victim was arrested on March 2 and charged with aggravated incest (2 cts.) and aggravated rape (2 cts.).
•Joseph L. Kirsch, 17, of 1201 Luling Estates Drive in Boutte, was arrested on March 2 and charged with possession of stolen property over $500.
•Kent A. Gaines, 53, of 737 E. Hoover St. in New Sarpy, was arrested on March 4 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, driving with a suspended driver’s license, flight using a motor vehicle, disregarding a stop sign and vehicle required to use light lamp.
•Steven M. Muth, 30, of 206 N. Beauregard Lane in Destrehan, was arrested on March 3 and charged with D.W.I. and improper control of vehicle.
•Justin A. Armstrong, 23, of 33266 Highway 11 in Empire, was arrested on March 2 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, displaying a false license and vehicle requiring head lamp.
•Christian J. Perkins, 34, of 400 Maple Loop in LaPlace, was arrested on March 3 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation and open container.
•Michelle Gubert, 31, of 322 Madewood Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on March 4 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Barry M. Callahan, 46, of 247 Dianne Drive in St. Rose, was arrested on March 4 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation and not having license on self.
•Jamie A. Pike, 23, of 221 Rue Landry in St. Rose, was arrested on March 5 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Vicodin and possession of Lorcet.
•John J. Harrell, 25, of 1073 Hart Lane in Summit, Miss., was arrested on March 6 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Hydrocodone and possession of Carisoprodol.
•Knox A. Lee III, 50, of 232 Clement St. in New Sarpy, was arrested on March 8 and charged with animal cruelty (5 cts.), dogs on tethers (5 cts.), pit bull requiring microchip (5 cts.), rabies vaccination required (7 cts.) and breeders license required (7 cts.).
•Devin A. Bates, 34, of 1435 Alvar St. in New Orleans, was arrested on March 8 and charged with communication of a false bomb threat.
•Matthew Coleman Jr., 70, of 105 Bailey St. in Boutte, was arrested on March 8 and charged with D.W.I. and improper control of vehicle.
•Ernest L. Brown, 57, of 3728 W. Edgewood St. in Avondale, was arrested on March 8 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
Thefts
•A cell phone was stolen from 200 Tiger Drive in Boutte on March 6.
•A gym bag, two jackets and prescription medication were stolen out of a vehicle at 225 Davis Drive in Luling on March 6.
•An iPod and Bible with a carrying case were stolen out of a vehicle at 1105 Primrose Drive in Boutte on March 6.
•A digital camera was stolen out of a vehicle at 207 Audubon St. in Paradis on March 6.
•An iPod, laptop, two pairs of shoes, a sweater and assorted papers were stolen out of a vehicle at 228 Turtle Creek St. in St. Rose on March 6.
•A tool box containing assorted tools, a digital camera and a screw gun were stolen out of a vehicle at 524 Sugarhouse Road in Luling on March 6.
•A pair of sunglasses were stolen out of a vehicle at 319 St. Anthony St. in Luling on March 6.
•An iPod was stolen from 200 Tiger Drive in Boutte on March 2.
•A Sirius Satellite Radio was stolen out of a vehicle at 312 Evelyn Drive in Luling on March 8.

Police dog sniffs out suspected burglar - 1164 views
With the assistance of a K-9 officer, police were able to track down a 23-year-old man who reportedly stole items from a car and broke into a house early Friday morning.
