SCB girls win city championship

With a 13-0 record, the girls’ varsity basketball team at St. Charles Borromeo School in Destrehan was named River Parishes Catholic League champions.

The team advanced to the city playoffs where they defeated St. Catherine of Siena School in the championship game.
