HHS, DHS dominate soccer All-District teams

DISTRICT 8-1 1ST TEAM

Kim Porche, Hahnville High School

Hahnville sophomore midfielder Kim Porche was named the MVP of the district after finishing with 15 goals and 12 assists, both impressive numbers for someone who patrols the middle of the field.

Kaitlyn Guillotte, Destrehan High School

Destrehan sophomore forward Kaitlyn Guillotte was named the Offensive MVP of the district after scoring 21 goals in district play. Guillotte also had 7 assists.

Marissa Aucoin, Hahnville High School

Hahnville junior defender Marissa Aucoin did such a stellar job from her position as the last line of defense that she was named the Defensive MVP of the district. Aucoin also recorded an assist for the Lady Tigers.

Nicole Daigle, Destrehan High School

Destrehan junior defender Nicole Daigle was a force to be reckoned with for opposing offenders throughout the season. Daigle also scored 4 goals and had 5 assists.

Amye Barre, Hahnville High School

Hahnville senior forward Amye Barre led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 30 goals on the season. Barre also recorded 19 assists for the Lady Tigers.

Jessica St. Pierre, Hahnville High School

Hahnville senior midfielder Jessica St. Pierre was a do-everything performer for the Lady Tigers last season, scoring 27 goals while leading her squad with 25 assists.

Morgan LeBlanc, Destrehan High School

Destrehan sophomore midfielder Morgan LeBlanc was one of her squad’s young leaders during the season. LeBlanc finished the district season with 10 goals and 12 assists.

Taylor Laurent, Hahnville High School

Hahnville midfielder Taylor Laurent was the only freshman to make 1st team All-District. Laurent scored 7 goals and had 8 assists.

 

DISTRICT 8-1 2ND TEAM

Grayson Touchard, Hahnville High School

Hahnville junior Grayson Touchard scored 22 goals and had 4 assists for the Lady Tigers.

Brandi Soignier, Hahnville High School

Hahnville senior Brandi Soignier scored 5 goals and had 4 assists for the Lady Tigers.

Jordan Laurent, Hahnville High School

Hahnville junior Jordan Laurent shined on defense but still managed to score a goal with an assist for the Lady Tigers.

Brooke Weyenberg, Destrehan High School

Destrehan sophomore Brooke Weynberg made the All-District squad as a defensive specialist, but she also scored a goal.

Allison Marrs, Destrehan High School

Destrehan sophomore Allison Marrs was one of the top defenders on her squad. She also scored a goal during district play.

Larissa Gonzalez-Rubio, Destrehan High School

Destrehan sophomore defender Larissa Gonzalez-Rubio had one goal and three assists during district play.

Kaleigh Mayeaux, Hahnville High School

Hahnville junior defender Kaleigh Mayeaux scored a goal and had 3 assists for the Lady Tigers.

Rebekah Dufour, Destrehan High School

Destrehan sophomore Rebekah Dufour finished with 8 goals and 6 assists in district play for the Lady Wildcats.

Cailen Jones, Destrehan High School

Destrehan senior leader Cailen Jones excelled on the defensive side of the ball, but she also scored a goal in district play.
