Helen Victor Etienne, 80, passed away on Feb. 4, 2012 at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Celia Victor, wife of the late John Etienne, mother of Rhonda Anderson, Ezetta Taylor and the late George Leobaux; mother-in-law of Gerald Anderson, Lawrence Taylor Jr. and Stella Leobaux; sister of Evelina Diggs, the late Dorothy Mae Jones, Cora Lee Smith, Gladys Warner, Ferman, Paul and Chester Victor; sister-in-law of Clarence Diggs, Patricia and Myrtle Victor, the late Stella Mae Victor, O.C. Jones, Joseph Smith Sr. and Lloyd Warner Sr.; and also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, twoGodchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was a native and resident of Montz.
A Funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco on Feb. 8 with Fr. Terry Becnel, celebrant. Interment was at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.

Superintendent steps down to get down - 721 views
