Man gets 8 years for indecent behavior with young girl
A 31-year-old Raceland man was sentenced to eight years in jail after pleading guilty to indecent behavior with a parish juvenile.
Authorities say that between 2004-05, Luther T. Holt had inappropriate sexual contact with a young girl that he was babysitting. According to court documents, Holt undressed in front of the girl and made her perform a sexual act on him. The girl told her mother of the incident last year and the mother contacted the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, according to spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes.
