Luling Living Center celebrates Mardi Gras royals, court members

During a special ball on Feb. 8, Luling Living Center residents celebrated their 2012 Mardi Gras king, queen, maids and dukes.

Reigning as king and queen were Lester Smith and Alvira Perkins Cardino, pictured.

Maids were Emily Eshleman, Mercedes Roux and Margaret Catoire. Dukes were Celestin Dempster, Robert E. Lee and Wallace Johnson.
