Man sought after Comfort Inn robbery
Police are searching for a man who made off with cash after robbing a 24-year-old woman who was working at the St. Rose Comfort Inn on Sunday morning.
At around 6 a.m., a white male entered the hotel, implied that he had a gun and demanded that the clerk give him all of the money out of her register. After the woman handed over the cash, the robber fled the scene, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The witness told police that the man was wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and a black and gray skull mask. The incident is under investigation and anyone having information on the crime is asked to contact Det. Brad Walsh at (985) 783-1135 or (985) 784-6807.
