Hahnville wrestlers take home tourney crown

On Jan. 7 Hahnville High School’s wrestling team traveled to Belle Chase to compete in wrestling duals.

The team placed first at the tournament. Hahnville won over Belle Chase, John Ehret, Riverdale, Grace King and Chalmette. Hahnville High School will host the District Meet this year on Feb. 3. Varsity Team with First Place Trophy: Seated in Front (L to R) Cameron Fremen, James Poree, Derek Cantrelle and Thomas Jones. Standing (L to R) Jordon Cook, Cameron Cambre, Dominic Folino, Gavin Fish, Jordon Hernandez, Tim Porch, Garret Thorning, Cami LaRosse, Ryan Baudoin, Adrien Young and Kenderick Jones.
