Cheryl Jean Waguespack Clay
Cheryl Jean Waguespack Clay, 52, of Norco, was called to heaven on Dec. 30, 2011.

She was the wife of Fred Ronny Clay, mother of Ashley Clay Moran (Michael) and Fred Elijah "Eli" Clay, grandmother of Amelia and Penelope Moran, daughter of Patricia O. Waguespack and the late Maurice J. "Mackie" Waguespack, sister of Lisa W Young (Chris), Maurice "Reese" Waguespack (Lynnie) and Wade Waguespack (Laura), daughter-in-law of Virginia O. Clay and the late Fred O. "Toad" Clay, and sister-in-law of Roger "Bud" Clay (late Dorothy), Bama Browning (Bob). She was a graduate of Destrehan High School and attended the University of New Orleans. She worked for Allstate Insurance Group for many years.

Services were held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco on Jan. 2 and 3, 2012 with Fr. Terry Becnel, celebrant.

Interment was in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan.
