Dwight Dufrene sent in this photo of a deer that took some time to check out the sights of Paradis in early December before heading back into the woods.

Dufrene said the deer was walking through Paradis at noon and roamed through yards around the Paradis Post Office. The doe then crossed the street and casually walked through the parking lot of the new library before heading over the railroad tracks and back into the woods.
