Robicheaux
Rinnie Roy Robicheaux, age 63, born in New Iberia, LA on November 12th, 1948, entered his eternal reward on Friday, December 9, 2011at 10:12 p.m. in the presence of the love of his life, Molly Duplantis Robicheaux. He grew up in Franklin, LA, served his country in the United States Air Force from 1969-1973 and was employed by Union Carbide Corp. from 1973-2003.
He received the St. Louis Medallion in 1994 for outstanding service to the Archdiocese of New Orleans at St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Luling. For many years he served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and Lector. Rinnie was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus of Council #2409 in Luling. For the past few years he was employed by Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, New Orleans as a Sacristan and Plant Manager.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his childhood sweetheart and wife of 42 years, Molly Duplantis Robicheaux, his twin sons: Bret Anthony Robicheaux, wife Cassie and granddaughters: Shelby Ann and Payton Elizabeth, Jason Roy Robicheaux, wife Lisa, granddaughter Lauren Alexa and only grandson Denton Michael, Very Reverend David Jude Robicheaux, V.F., Pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, New Orleans, LA and Kevin Matthew Robicheaux, wife Erica and granddaughters Amber Clare and Amanda Marie, his brother Randall "Beau" Robicheaux, wife Inez of Franklin, niece and Godchild Amie Robicheaux Meyers of Katy, TX. Jeffrey Lynn Robicheaux of Franklin, La. His sister Lynn Ellen Marie Keenze, husband John "Toody" Keenze, nephew William Patrick and niece Randi Marie Keenze of Franklin, LA. Visitation will be on Monday, December 12th, 2011 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 234 Angus Dr., Luling, LA from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Visitation on Tuesday, December 13th from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial at St. Charles Cemetery, Paul Maillard Road, Luling, LA. Family requests Masses and memorial donations be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 234 Angus Dr., Luling 70070 and Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 1322 Moss St., New Orleans 70119.
