Francisco Medina Jr., 81, passed away on Dec. 10, 2011 at St. Charles Parish Hospital. He was a retired from the St. Charles Parish Recreation Department.

He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores Marie Baudoin Medina, father of Jessie Medina, the late Manuel A. Medina (wife Gena), Christopher Medina and Glenda Walton; grandfather of Melissa and Angie Walton, Manuel II and Kristen Medina and Alexia Truxillo; great-grandfather of Jaiden Georgeff and Gabrielle Bush, and brother of Joseph Valentine Medina, Margarita Medina Mendez, Juanita Medina Hymel, Carolina Medina Durapau and the late Pueblito "Lee" Medina, the late Raphael "Pee-Wee" Medina and the late Manuel Medina.

Services were held on Dec. 14 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home. Burial followed at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. The family would like to extend thanks to his wonderful nephew, Kevin "Bubba" Lachney, for taking such good care of him.Condolences may be sent to: www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
