DHS lineman chooses UH
The 6í4, 250-pound defensive end committed to the Cougars this weekend after he was heavily pursued by Arkansas, Ole Miss, SMU and Louisiana Tech.
Singletonís only visit to the Houston campus was this summer when he attended the Nike Camp.
"I really liked what I saw when I got on the campus for the Nike camp," Singleton said. "I liked the facilities and how the campus was laid out. I spoke to Coach Jason Phillips, who recruits Louisiana, and he was real excited to hear from me last week. My sister lives about 20 minutes from Houston, so I know that I can call her if I need anything while at school."
