SCB flag football team wins Catholic championship

With a 6-0 record, the junior varsity flag football team at St. Charles Borromeo School in Destrehan was named River Parishes Catholic League champions.

During the season, the team had zero points scored against them. They advanced to the second round in city playoffs. Team members are: Sitting (from left to right) Daniel Forest, Sam Delaney, Dustin Mire, Vincent Rizzo and Rhett LeBlanc. Kneeling (from left to right) Brennan Gilberti, Justin Rigby, Jacob Twiner, Dalton Melancon, Nicholas Roberts and Evan Pfister.
