Sisters Society helps sick, elderly

The Sisters Society Social Club delivered a total of 35 Thanksgiving Food Drive bags to the elderly, sick and shut-in residents of Killona.

The bags included canned goods, pie crust, yams, cake mixes, rice, beans, peas and more to help make a meal.

Anthony Manson Jr., a 22-year-old resident of St. Rose, is being charged with three counts of aggravated criminal damage to property and six counts of aggravated assault after reportedly driving his Toyota Tundra pickup truck into the front of three different Destrehan businesses Wednesday morning.
