The festival was founded six years ago by Satellite Center facilitators Brian Gough, Albert Dupont and Rhitt Growl as a project for their team members. It has since grown into a regional animation and film event for high school students and community members in the River Parishes, Greater New Orleans Area and Northshore. The 2012 Festival will be held on April 20 at the Professional Learning Center in Luling.
