Hurst science guy
Barry Guillot, a teacher at Harry Hurst Middle School, was recently honored as the recipient of the 2011 Louisiana Outstanding Earth Science Teacher Award.

He received the award during a ceremony at the National Science Teachers Association Regional Convention. The National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT) Outstanding Earth Science Teacher (OEST) Awards are administered by the Geological Society of America (GSA). This annual award recognizes teachers who provide "exceptional contributions to the stimulation of interest in the Earth Sciences at the pre-college level."
