Running Back - HahnvilleHahnville junior running back Ernest Thompson put up some big numbers in his first year as a starter for the Tigers. Thompson rushed for 863 yards on 143 carries, which equates to just over six yards per carry. Thompson also scored 13 touchdowns for the Tigers.
Jerqwinick Sandolph
Defensive Back - Hahnville
Hahnville senior Jerqwinick Sandolph moved to safety this season and made a big impact. Sandolph finished the regular season with 55 solo tackles, 19 assists, six tackles for loss, three interceptions, 13 pass breakups and a punt return for a touchdown. For his efforts, Sandolph was also recognized as the defensive MVP of the District 8-5A.

Speed patrols return to I-310 after months-long absence - 1838 views
Over the past four months, those who often travel the elevated portions of I-10 and I-310 in St. Charles Parish have noticed a lack of state troopers on the interstate.
