DHS student to perform in Macy’s parade

Jeffrey Mitchell, flutist and Destrehan High School senior, has been selected to perform with the Great American Marching Band in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Mitchell is an All-Paris, All-District and All-State band member. He has also been a member of the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra. Jeffrey plans to major in Music Education.
