On the very first play of the game last Friday, Jerqwinick Sandolph took the opening kick off and blew through West Monroe defenders on the way to a touchdown. Sandolph, who has already committed to LSU, then took the field as his team's starting safety, recording eight tackles in limited action for the Tigers in their 49-14 loss to West Monore. For his efforts, Sandolph was named both the offensive and defensive player of the week for the Tigers.

This bipartisan legislation aims to improve the National Flood Insurance Program by ensuring that the implementation of new rates do not burden homeowners or slow the recovery of the nation's housing market.
