Destrehan cruises past Central Lafourche, 37-3

Led by a dominant defense, the Destrehan Wildcats stormed out to a 37-0 halftime lead before going on cruise control for a 37-3 homecoming victory over Central Lafourche.

The Destrehan defense held Thibodaux to less than 200 total yards in their 48-14 win last Friday. After trailing for the first time all season, Destrehan responded with 41-straight points to knock off Thibodaux 48-14 last Friday. Now the Wildcats hope to pick up right where they left off when they host Central Lafourche.

Coming off an emotional win last week where everything seemed to go right for Destrehan, the Wildcats came out a little flat against Thibodaux. But when the Wildcats got rolling in the second quarter, there was no stopping them as they cruised to a 48-14 win Friday night.

Destrehan senior linebacker RaeJuan Marbley returns an interception for a touchdown in his teamís win over Hahnville. Last Fridayís rivalry game against Hahnville couldnít have gone any better for the Destrehan Wildcats, who jumped on top 21-0 in the first seven minutes of the game on their way to a 49-0 victory.

Destrehan receiver Alfred Smith shrugs off a tackle and goes in for the score against Terrebonne. Destrehan has scored 196 points in their first four games on the way to a perfect start, but their high-powered offense will be tested when they face rival Hahnville, whose defense is giving up just 12 points a game.
