Though the Wildcats trailed 13-0 at the half, they stormed back for a 27-20 win. The past few weeks have not been kind to the Destrehan Wildcats with four consecutive losses to four of the best teams in the state. While that trend seemed like it was going to continue at halftime last Friday as the East Ascension Spartans held a 13-0 lead, the Wildcats pulled out a stunning 27-point second half to take the game 27-20.

Destrehan wrapped up the most brutal stretch of their schedule without a win as they lost to four ranked teams, including Lutcher, Dutchtown, Hahnville and East St. John by combined score of 155-46.

Destrehan has played an extremely tough schedule and will face their fourth-straight ranked team this Friday when they host East St. John on After falling to rival Hahnville 35-14, the Destrehan Wildcats must regroup if they hope to get into the playoffs and make some noise. But the road doesn't get any easier Friday night, as they host No. 6-ranked East St. John.
