Solar panel company under fire for ‘unfair trade practices’
After a local solar panel installation company was named in a class action lawsuit this February, it appears many St. Charles Parish residents may be affected by what attorneys who brought the suit are calling unfair trade practices.

The Destrehan Wildcats locked up the District 7-5A championship with wins over Central Lafourche, South Lafourche and H.L. Bourgeois, outscoring those three opponents by a combined score of 31-3.

Parties need to be more bipartisan
The Obama administration has punted again in extending indefinitely how much time the feds have to approve the controversial Keystone XL pipeline. The conveyer pipes that would connect Canada with the Gulf of Mexico coast in the United States and score a touchdown for our future prosperity has become a big partisan political issue.

•Adam M. Baloney, 31, of 106 E. Club Drive in St. Rose, was arrested on April 16 and charged with possession with intent to sell crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying an illegal weapon, use of a firearm with a controlled substance, possession or firearm with an obliterated ID number, illegal use of a controlled substance in the presence of a juvenile, as a fugitive from Kenner and as a fugitive from Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
