A Reserve man is being sought in the attempted kidnapping of a 17-year-old girl at gunpoint in Boutte on Saturday.

Parish’s first splash park should open in May

The Destrehan Lady Wildcats dominated East St. John 21-0 on Thursday, but fell to H.L. Bourgeois on Friday, which kept the Lady Wildcats in second place in district play with an 11-2 record.
