Destrehan man reportedly had sex with 3-year-old, 16-year-old
A 30-year-old Destrehan man was arrested after police say he had inappropriate sexual contact with a 3-year-old and a 16-year-old.

Gun control has to find the right people
It has been a grief-filled week gone by as residents of Newtown, Conn. began burying those who were shot to death by a person who was obviously mentally ill. In addition to 20 school children, six adults, including the school principal who was trying to save her students, lost their lives in an insane act.

Robinson, 35, of 1005 Kinler St. in Luling, was arrested on Dec. 11 and charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance suboxone, suspended driver’s license, resisting an officer, as a fugitive from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, a fugitive from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and as a fugitive from Westwego.

Forrest J. Boudreaux Sr., 88, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 3:25 a.m. in LaPlace.
Alaina Zeringue Arnold, 50, died at 4:24 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, after a seven-year, hard-fought battle with cancer.
