Paul Edward Lambert, 57, passed away on June 11, 2011 at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie. He was an operator for Shell Motiva and member of the Knights of Columbus, United States Army during the Vietnam War, and the American Legion Post 366.

Hugh Franklin Griffith, 85, a retired grain inspector for the U. S. Department of Agriculture and a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 13, 2011 at the Ormond Nursing and Care Center in Destrehan. He had been married for 47 years to his late wife, Rosemarie Teutone Griffith.
