Bus system to roll by October
A bus transit system that will pick up residents at their homes and transport them to destinations across the parish and into Kenner should be up and running by October, according to River Parishes Transit Authority Chairman Brent Petit.

West Nile virus found in Willowdale, Red Church
Mosquitoes in both Willowdale and Red Church tested positive for West Nile. Mosquito monitoring continues to expose an active presence of the West Nile virus in St. Charles Parish - despite increased spraying.
